Artist's note: This painting was a commission for the first opera house in Sioux City, Iowa. This was a great painting to work on. All of the photo reference from this was from the Sioux City Historical Society. I enjoyed being educated on some local history as i worked on this. It was quite a change from rendering wildlife.
